Drawn by hand and carved with care, this one-of-a-kind ceramic platter captures the feeling of sunlight threading through marsh grass—a map of moments spent still, listening. A central sunburst radiates out in Sun Gold, turquoise, brown, and white, surrounded by buff colored clay etched with flowing sgraffito lines. Every detail is a story waiting to be shared. Paired with a beautiful matching little 4" handled bowl.

This piece is as versatile as it is striking. At 11 inches across, it’s perfect as a functional serving platter or as wall art. Made from textured stoneware clay and finished with food-safe underglazes and a liquid quartz sealer specifically designed for ceramics and food surfaces.

Please note my pieces are not intended to be perfectly uniform and symmetrical...it's that random imperfect uniqueness that make each piece so special.

ABOUT THE PROCESS: I design, shape, paint, and glaze all of my ceramics by hand. They are then bisque fired, then dipped or brushed with glaze, and then glazed fired to the appropriate temperature for each food safe glaze type.

Most of my items are small batch or one of a kinds, but if you'd like I can made a special order for you.
